Alcatel has shown at CES two new smartphones - cheap smartphones, Idol and One Touch One Touch Ultra Idol, and a phablet, One Touch HD Scribe.
As in every CES, companies are beginning to show their 'titulitis'. Alcatel has introduced a new smartphone(JIAYU G3) Las Vegas which he defines as "the world's thinnest". This is the One Touch Ultra Idol, a device only 6.45 mm thick (the Apple iPhone 5 is 7.6 mm). I do not know how long this self-imposed title because another manufacturer may surprise us in the coming days with a phone even finer.
The One Touch Ultra Idol has a 4.7-inch AMOLED screen, comes with a dual-core chip at 1.2 Ghz, 1 GB of RAM and 8GB of space, 8 megapixel rear camera and a 1.3 front .
This terminal also released a version accompanied midrange and economic orientation. One Touch Is Idol, with 8.15 mm thick screen of 960 x 540 pixels(JIAYU G2 plus). While sharing the Ultra processor, only has 512 MB RAM and 4 GB of internal space
Along with Idol, Alcatel also been allowed to see his first foray into the segment phablet, the One Touch HD Scribe. This features a 5-inch screen, quad core processor SoC Media Tek MT6589 to 1.2 Ghz, 1 GB of RAM, 4GB of storage, 8 megapixel rear camera and front camera 720p. Like the Galaxy Note, has an optional capacitive estilus and applications designed specifically for her.
The three terminals will have as its first China testing ground, where they will be released later this month. The phablet reach U.S. in the second quarter, a price to be around $ 400.
As for Idol and One Touch One Touch Ultra Idol trample Scribe U.S. territory after HD, although no specific launch date yet. The Idol will go on sale for $ 450 and its little brother will cost somewhat less.
At the moment there is no information on the availability of three mobile devices in Europe.
