As reported by The Verge, Asus defines his new device as "the first portable desktop computer tablet(Ainol Novo 7) and three-in-one in the world". It is characterized by providing a fully dedicated desktop "to work" and "tablet functionality for games," according to the company itself.
The Full HD screen has a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels, which is incorporated once the keyboard has a laptop class processor, a full keyboard, built-in battery and extra ports. It can also be connected to an external display to work as a desktop PC.
Asus says users can synchronize the data and return to pick them up immediately where they left off when switching between the two modes. The Transformer Book Trio is powered by an Intel dual processor, including a Core i7 CPU Haswell in the PC Station Dock and 2.0GHz Atom chip inside the tablet(PIPO S1).
The company sure that the device will offer up to 15 hours of battery life and a hard disk of 750 GB, when connected to the base, while the tablet includes a 64GB SSD. The company has not announced pricing or availability.
