If an iPad thinner and lighter lack is something that causes you sleepless nights, worry a new DigiTimes report will allow you to rest tonight. The 9.7-inch iPad 5 will be launched later this year, reports the daily newspaper. The latter would be 25 to 33% lighter than the 4th generation according to a source in the supply chain.

To make the lightest Tablet PC manufacturers have had to use a thinner glass for the touch screen, and provided by a single LED bar instead of two LED light bars found in the current iPad backlight indicates report.

Of course, many of you know that the iPad 2 was both thinner and lighter than the iPad 3 and 4 - the models that followed. The additional volume is according to Apple, the direct result of the addition of the Retina screen, suggesting that the Cupertino company has found a way to reduce the weight of such a screen and therefore the tablet(Ramos W30HD).

LG Display, Samsung and Sharp Display screens are supposed to provide for the iPad 5, with production expected to begin in July tablet. Deliveries include between two and three million units and planned for September, shortly before the planned launch of the tablet, says DigiTimes.

This latest rumor seems to confirm what KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who last month said that the next generation iPad would be about 7.5 mm to 8 mm, 9.4 mm against the current model.

Of course, Apple is still in the hunt to lose weight and reduce the tablet(Hyundai T7) as well as its other products, and it's just a matter of time before the firm that invents or discovers technology to enable this desire. With this latest report, it seems that the iPad 5 is ready to shift the extra weight and thickness models introduced with the third and fourth generation, for a more subtle design, which will help the technology giant to stimulate sales of its "great" tablet.
