Touchscreens sales increase by 150% in 2012 compared to 2011

Mobile devices with the Android operating system have won the battle to iPhone thanks to its universal and much wider range of models and prices. According to Marketing Director Phone House, Raquel Sanz, is a mature market compared to the recent advent of e-readers and tablets.
But surely, these latest gadgets have grown dramatically in Spain since his arrival three years ago. Sales have grown 150% in 2012 compared to those recorded in 2011 - JIAYU G2 plus.
Among the tablets, the most popular have been the medium of seven inches, which have occupied 75% of sales during December. The Christmas season is between 35 and 40% of sales for the year. In the case of e-readers, Christmas sales represent almost 60% of the total. For her part, music players MP4 and MP5 still resisting orders from the Magi, although less so.
As for the investment they have made the Spanish in these devices, according to netkomercio.es, one in four customers has allocated EUR 150. The 27% invested between 150 and 300 euros, and the remaining 20% was spent on average 450 euros.
The head of tablets and e-reders in Phone House - JIAYU G1, Eduardo Pérez, pointed out that computers have reduced tactile 100 euros the difference between one and another white label first. Last year, compare unbranded tablet cost 200 euros less than one manufacturers like Samsung.
Both Pérez and Sanz believe that success lies in that these devices have become a sure hit this Christmas. They have also pointed out that, although the profile of tablet users still male (63%), this year the potential audience are children and the elderly. The ease of navigation, versatility, and price focus their appeal.
But tablets and smartphones have shared the limelight with an add star: external batteries that can charge mobile anywhere. One advantage that the more hooked grateful to these devices, which require daily recharging at the end of the day.
